At 5:00 pm EST, Donald Trump tweeted that starting on Nov 1, 2025. Tariffs will be imposed on China due to issues with China restricting rare earth shipments.
The fear of a trade was lead to a crypto market crash. Some altcoins were lower by 70% before recovering some of their value. This is being fueled by margin calls on liquidity positions.
